Chryssa Skodra (ylioppilaslehti 1)

This is my learning journal consisting of my insights as a teacher student of the Vocational Teacher Education programme at HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland.

I have already been three years of experience working as a teacher in HAAGA-HELIA UAS, teaching a variety of subjects namely Marketing, Event Management, Project Management, Advertising, Blogging and Wedding Planning and Management.

In 2013, I got accepted into the Vocational Teacher Education programme, which lasts for a duration of 1,5 years and is held in English. Only a selected few are given the opportunity to study in this programme every year.

Looking forward to learn more and share the insights of my learning journey!

  1. Congratulations on being accepted into the Teacher Ed. program. I am in a similar program called, Provincial Instructor Diploma Program (PIDP). I live on Vancouver Island in western Canada ~ a little too far from school, so I’m taking it online and have one more course to go, Yea! Looking forward to following your blog.

  2. Hi,
I’m so happy that you decided to start a blog instead of just uploading your stuff on the Moodle platform! This blog is an excellent example of “if you go open, you can reach unexpected people, with unexpected outcomes”. I mean, how cool is it, that your firs commenter comes from Canada! (Hello to you too, Sharon, and welcome!)

    Best wishes
